ACF Fiorentina is the full name of the Associazione Calcistica Fiorentina, or Fiorentina Football Association, which is now known over the world as Fiorentina. Ancient time

Luigi Ridolfi, a local aristocrat and member of the National Fascist Party, organized the merger of two older Florentine clubs, CS Firenze and PG Libertas, in 1926 before the end of the season. The goal was to develop a solid swing so that it could compete with other strong teams in Italy's northwest.

Fiorentina was promoted to Serie A in 1931 after three seasons in the lower league. The stadium was originally named Giovanni Berta and opened the same year, but it is now known as Stadio Artemio Franchi.
